What’s the story?
Truth is, we saw a bit of an opportunity and took it. We originally had a small holding of picnic benches that had a very busy summer season catering to festival and events across the south west.
Once the season wrapped up, we took a step back to rethink how we could improve and expand. We set out to design our own configurations for 4ft, 5ft and 6ft benches. From the start we knew we wanted to handle the entire process in house (because who needs a break, right?). This allowed us to really focus on perfecting the design, spending countless hours building jigs, sketching out plans and measuring everything meticulously. After a lot of trial and error we built our first prototype.
The next thing we knew, production was in full swing, and we were on a roll. It has been a massive team effort, with support from our amazing team who’ve not only embraced our crazy ideas but also brought their own creativity and innovation to the table. Together we’ve made the process more efficient and our product even better.
What started as a small idea has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re excited to keep pushing boundaries, building new solutions and creating top quality picnic benches for every event.
